They provide the ability to upload and organize your images into albums and galleries and share them out with family and friends. You can add captions and descriptions and even allow other users to modify the content.
These sites are also a great place for showcasing work samples for a variety of trades. Professionals of all different vocations need an online presence in this day and age to detail their expertise. With the added ability of displaying your best work, perspective clients or other interested parties get the chance to see how well you’ve honed your craft.
